Tree Pruning

HESPERIA TREE SERVICE

TREE PRUNING IN HESPERIA, CA

Tree Pruning is similar to tree trimming in that the tree branches are cutback for the same reasons. However, the main objective is to cut branches from the tree to improve the trees' health and facilitate healthy growth. Each tree branch to be cutback is selected carefully to improve the tree's health and healthy growth. Any dead branches are cutback, and any diseased or damaged tree branches or bark are cut from the tree to prevent the tree from wasting valuable nutrients and to improve safety. Living tree branches are then carefully selected to be cut from the tree to improve airflow to inner tree branches, improve a tree's overall structure, correct a misshapen tree, unblock a view or pathway, or reduce its size.

Like tree trimming, anyone without tree care training should only prune a tree if it is possible to prune with both feet planted firmly on the ground. If you meet this tree pruning rule and plan on pruning a tree, you will need the proper pruning tools. They need to function well, be sharp and clean. Remember to clean your tools after removing any diseased or pest-infested wood from the tree to prevent spreading illness or infestation to another part of the tree.

All trees that a layman cannot prune with both feet firmly on the ground require a tree service professional to prune them. Our team is well-trained in pruning and specialized techniques and has 30 years of experience in tree service. We can safely prune even the largest of trees, difficult-to-reach or overgrown trees that risk damaging a structure or posing a hazard, such as when growing too close to powerlines. We have special equipment and techniques to pull tree branches away from a building at risk to prevent the tree branches from falling and causing damage to it and to minimize the risk of tree branches falling onto powerlines. Whatever your situation, I am sure that we have experienced it or something similar and can safely prune your trees.

VISTA PRUNING

When wishing to keep a beautiful tree that is blocking a view, we can use vista pruning so that both can be enjoyed. This process is called Vista Pruning and it involves the select removal or trimming of branches. This is done until a window in the tree branches is created exposing the view beyond the tree. It is a popular technique to improve the view to an ocean, lake, mountain, or landscape, but is also used for the clearing of branches to clear the view of a road sign for pedestrians and drivers.

CROWN RAISING

Crown Raising is a pruning process where the lower branches of the tree are removed to increase visibility and to provide a clearance over streets, sidewalks, driveways and structures.

CROWN RESTORATION

Trees that have a damaged canopy, due to either damage from a storm or improper punning, grow with an unattractive and unnatural shape. Restoration of the canopy is required to correct this and is done by trimming the branches to train the tree to resume its natural growth.

CROWN REDUCTION

It is a healthy technique for reducing a tree's overall size, reducing its height, and shortening the length of its branches. This technique involves cutting off branches selectively to their next lateral. Preferably only a short portion of each tree branch is removed to maintain the tree's shape, but long enough to promote healthy growth. This method also alleviates the stress of longer branches on a tree and protects a tree from potential damage from high winds or storms.

CROWN THINNING

When the branches of a trees interior canopy are interfering with or crossing each other, structural pressure can adversely affect the tree. Crown Thinning is the removal of these branches, which increases sun penetration are flow this eliminating this pressure.

CROWN CLEARING

The health of a tree can be adversely affected when its branches on a tree are damaged, infected with disease, or dead. This also affects the growth and vitality of the tree and if the tree is left untreated it can become both a hazard and liability risk. Crown Cleaning is the removal of theses damaged, diseased, or dead branches and is important to improve your trees health.
